In my neighborhood there is a row of wild fennel that growing between a chain link fence and the driveway to the empty catholic school

it seems like all of us have memories connected to these flying seeds

I collected these seeds over the summer copying them into wax and casting into metal

The ear wire is sterling silver

It felt like a treasure hunt

Hand fabricated from many little pieces of sterling silver wire in my Pittsburgh studio

That is the inspiration for this necklace
