Rolet Arbois Trousseau 2023 (750ml) Cremant d' AlsaceThis is 100% Trousseau from 40 year old vines, subjected to a native yeast fermentation incorporating whole grape clusters. It is aged in large, old foudre casks. Light ruby purple in color and slightly cloudy, with aromas flavors of raspberries, wild strawberry, currants, lilac, violet, pepper, underbrush, and leather. Juicy and gently tannic, but with a tangy crunch and an aromatic, lightly smoky finish.
