He dives deeply and can stay down for a long time

He was tired enough to allow me to get pretty close

Black-and-white Warblers are usually seen climbing all over trees underneath and sideways like a nuthatch

the flowers of which seem almost closed

Here the pinks and purples of the male Costa gorgette shine and some of the blues look black

eyes open and more aware of surroundings

an amazing look

but unfortunately is not found in the US
