Kentucky Owl The Wiseman Whiskey 70cl brofferThe Wiseman is the first Kentucky Owl release from master blender John Rhea and is comprised of a four Straight bourbons matured for up to eight years old. Aromas of caramel, allspice, citrus and oak fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla, caramel ice cream, baking spices and peppery oak throughout the palate.

Tangy Passion Fruit bursts on to the scene which is undercut by Sweet Salted Caramel notes before Spicy Ginger notes come to finish things off

Whilst many Rums do use Cocoa Beans within the distillation process the Ruby Cocoa Bean is unfermented (the process which caused Cocoa Beans to turn Brown) which is what causes the Red/Pink colour of the Rum and gives a Fruitier flavour

This is distilled from a Mashbill of Corn
