Hala Tropicals Limited Edition Giclee Waterlily

Hala Tropicals Limited Edition Giclee WaterlilyHala Tropicals is my newest painting. Started at the beginning of the pandemic, this painting took me a year and a half to complete. The original was 32x72 and was painted with oils on 3 separate canvas panels. All of the flowers were grown and arranged by my talented sister Jessica at her flower farm in Hana called Hala Tropicals (hence the name). She included over 20 varieties of flowers and foliage. Most importantly, each panel has a hidden frog.

The sand coral is painted to replicate the look of white hawaiian coral or black Hawaiian lava

It features a beautiful Amber Purple Lionfish which is slightly smaller than our made to order lion fish

It is made of borosilicate (Pyrex) glass

The belly of the share is sandblasted giving the appearance of the ocean sand through the body

This piece was hand sculpted in the flame with Chrystal clear glass
