Ceres Bridge Papermill Chardonnay Unit:SingleProducer Ceres Bridge Estate was established in 1996 when Challon and Patricia moved from Western Australia to Geelong and purchased a 6 hectare property in Stonehaven, 9 km west of the centre of Geelong. They decided to fulfil their aspirations of growing grapes and making wine and began planting their vineyard with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo, Sauvignon Blanc, and a little Viognier. Warm days and cool nights are typical
The majority of their vineyards are situated within Premier Cru areas and boast an average vine age of 40 years
It feels like it will come together very well with a little more bottle age
while many varieties are planted
The result is pure
Most of the fruit they use grow themselves
