Weingut Gunderloch - Hipping Riesling Trocken GG 2022 (750ml) VerduzzoNiersteiner Hipping is Gunderlochs smallest grand cru, sourced from an extremely steep portion of the vineyard. Spontaneously fermented, barrel aged, and picked at punishingly low yields. The nose is typical Roter Hang: herbal, stony, savory, sunny, but ups the ante in 2021 with exotic florals like lilacs and jasmine tea. It is intense and really exciting! Firm and straight in the mouth, locked in by its grid of acids, structured like sculpted stone.
